Survey Reveals Top First-Date Picks for New York Men
If you're in upstate New York, and looking to impress your date but don't want to break the bank for the sake of love. Don't worry, because a recent survey found that the majority of guys in the Empire State are totally cool for a first date at a fast food joint!
DatingNews heard from 3,000 men in New York and 54% of them said they'd happily trade in the fancy fine dining for a trip to their favorite fast food joint with their potential sweetheart. Well yeah, why go broke if you know that there is going to be no second date.
It turns out that nearly two-thirds of women surveyed were also okay to go on a first date to a fast food restaurant. I mean, After all, who doesn't love some affordable food, and portions at a fast food place?
So, what's the go-to fast food joint for these romantic men in New York? It looks like Chick-fil-A is the big winner, followed by McDonald's and Dairy Queen. It's a little ironic, though, that while the guys are totally good for a budget-friendly first date but there is no Chick-fil-A in Binghamton!
However you could look like a first-date hero by taking a romantic (or rough, if it isn't going well) road trip to get some Chick-fil-A in Syracuse or Dickson City!
If you're still not convinced that a budget-friendly first date is a good thing, the survey also found that over 40% of women are all about those good vibes, 40% appreciate realness when it comes to a tight budget.
Surprisingly to me is that over half (56%) of people are good with splitting the bill at a fast food restaurant. I think the other 44% are lying. But if fast food isn't your thing, the survey also unveiled some other budget-friendly date ideas for you to consider.
From a coffee shop date to a movie marathon at home with takeout, it's clear that there are plenty of low-cost, high-fun options when it comes to planning the perfect romantic rendezvous without burning a hole in your pocket!
