Grandstand, Demo Derby, and Monster Truck Shows at the New York State Fair

The New York State Fair in Syracuse runs from August 27th to September 7th. It'll be here before you know it. Tickets go on sale today for 3 Grandstand shows, Demo Derby and Monster Truck show.

Here's something I just learned about this year's Fair.

It's the final year of the Grandstand concerts so they are celebrating with Throwback Pricing. They will roll'em back to the levels of years ago.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan performs on Friday, August 28. Country music legend Hank Williams Jr. takes the stage Sunday, August 30. Patti Labelle entertains on Thursday, September 3.

All shows begin at 7:30 p.m and will feature the Throwback Pricing. You can get them at the State Fair Box Office or online. Tickets also remain on sale for Eric Church's Grandstand show on Thursday, August 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The New York State Championship Demolition Derby and the All Star Monster Truck Tour are at the Grandstand on Sunday, September 6.

The two events are being sold via one ticket for the first time. The demolition derby begins at 1 p.m., with the monster truck show beginning at 7:30 p.m.  All tickets to concerts or the automotive events include admission to the Fair.
