The Ross Park Zoo & Mom Together For Mother’s Day

So many things are affected because of the coronavirus, and it's hurting everybody in one way or another. The Ross Park Zoo is usually open weekends this time of year but because of COVID-19, they are closed until at least May 15th.

Mother's Day is only a few weeks away and normally all moms would get free admission to the zoo. It will be different this year but you can still celebrate that special woman in your life and help the zoo too.

You can support the Ross Park Zoo and take a home a delicious Mother's Day meal at the same time. Marilu's Catering has teamed with the zoo for a meal that includes chicken parmesan, side of pasta with marinara sauce, rolls, and butter.

It also includes a free zoo admission pass to use when they re-open. The meal for mom will be available for pickup on Sunday, May 10th from 12 p.m.to 2 p.m. as a drive-up near the Zoovenirs Gift Shop.

You have to place your order online here by Thursday, May 7th at 3 p.m. and it is pre-orders only. Here are some other gift ideas for your mom...or any other animal lover in your life.

The 5th oldest zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton and we hope that they are open sooner rather than later.
