Betway wanted to find the most underrated museums in the United States and Canada. They took into account the number of Instagram posts, Instagram followers, and reviews from Tripadvisor, Yelp, and Google.

They ranked these museums and gave them a score from 1 to 5 and found out that one of the most underrated museums in the United States is right here in the Empire State.

1. The Frick Collection - New York City

The Frick Collection (I love the name) in New York City is the most underrated museum in the US and Canada with a score of 3.81. It is closed right now for renovations, but it has the largest number of Instagram followers among the 336,000 museums on the list. It has also received positive reviews on Tripadvisor, Yelp, and Google.

2. Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art - Bentonville, Arkansas

Coming in at second place is the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. There are 130,000 Instagram followers with excellent reviews, including a perfect score of 5 on Tripadvisor.

3. The Portland Art Museum - Portland, Oregon

The Portland Art Museum in Portland, Oregon is third as one of the most underrated museums. While the final score is 3.57, this is a must-visit place for art fans looking for a unique experience.

4. The Philbrook Museum of Art - Tulsa, Oklahoma

Tulsa, Oklahoma is home to the Philbrook Museum of Art and it took fourth place as an underrated museum. With a final score of 3.32, it has a rich collection of art and history.

5. The National Civil Rights Museum - Memphis, Tennessee

The National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee finishes fifth as an underrated museum with a score of 3.31. It provides a powerful experience, and takes a look into the history of civil rights in the United States.
