New Afternoon Host Joins 98.1 The Hawk in Binghamton

I’m so genuinely excited to finally be able to introduce you to the newest member of the Hawk family, Chrissy. You’ll be hanging out with her every weekday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on The Drive Home With Chrissy, and I know you're going to love her as much as I do.

Meet Chrissy: Your New Afternoon Host

I’ve known Chrissy for years, and one thing that has always been true about her is that she’s authentic and the kind of person who makes you feel like you’ve known her forever within about five minutes.

Chrissy’s Passion for Helping Others

One of the things I admire most about Chrissy is her enormous heart. She’s passionate about giving back, especially to the kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. That dedication makes her a perfect fit for our Hawk family, since so many of us in the Southern Tier care deeply about St. Jude kids, too.

Proud Upstate New York Roots

Chrissy was born and raised in Mechanicville in Saratoga County, so she’s Upstate New York to her core. That Upstate pride, sense of community, and genuine connection with people really come through both on and off the air.

Family at the Center of Her World

Chrissy married her best friend, Jenn, in August 2022, and together they’re raising their son, Ryan. Family is at the center of her world, so expect to hear plenty of heartfelt stories along the way; that’s just who she is.

Her Love for True Crime and Law & Order

Chrissy is a true crime enthusiast who can watch Law & Order SVU on repeat. Fun fact: her dad worked on the show for several years, and if you look closely at early episodes, you’ll spot her last name on a locker in the squad room.

A Fun Family Eggplant Fact

Chrissy is also incredibly close to her mom, Nancy, and will passionately defend her mom’s eggplant cooking skills at all costs. If you suggest anyone does it better, you’ll quickly see just how loyal Chrissy is.
