Two western Broome County teens are facing charges in connection with an incident at Maine Memorial School July 30.

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 17-year-old Gabriel Honnick of Endicott is charged with felony assault while 17-year-old Jacob Peterman of the Town of Maine is charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

Deputies have not released details regarding the nature of the incident but say Honnick is accused of using a weapon to cause injury to another person.

Peterman is accused of being involved in the incident that “impacted a minor that was at the location.”
