The Taste of Home Cooking School is coming Hawktober 29th, 5pm at the Osterhout Concert Theater at BU. So I'm getting ready for the big event with these tomatoes that I got out of the Pitcher garden.

The problem is (amongst other things) is that I don't know what to do with them. First of all, I'm not much of a cook. Ask my daughter, Tara, she says to me all the time that she wishes I could cook. I remind her if I don't cook, then she can get take out. So I'm looking forward to the School for that.

But in the meantime, what should I do?  Here's my thought. I could hold on to them til Halloween and use them on the trickers in the neighborhood.  Probably not the best idea because they could trick me back.

So this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to give them to a good home.  A home where I know they'll be treated with the respect they deserve.  So I'm giving them to Traci.  I know she'll find the right recipe for them.  I just hope she shares with me when she's done.

Here's some good news for those looking for tickets for the Taste of Home Cooking School.  Not only can you get them here but you can now get tickets at Mainesource on Front Street in Binghamton.  If you're thinking about getting VIP tickets, hurry because I heard they were only 7 left.

Can't wait to see you Hawktober 29th at BU.
