The Binghamton Zoo is getting ready for it's 141st season with many events this month. It begins with Zoo night when the B-Sens take on the Hershey Bears. Zoo night, bears...get it.

That groundhog from Punxsutawney might say that it'll be an early spring. But the animals I believe are penguins,otters and owls....from the Binghamton Zoo. America's 5th Zoo is open on weekends beginning this Saturday and Sunday.

The historic carousel in Binghamton's Ross Park is expected to vanish in the next month or two. The merry-go-round is one of six donated by George F. Johnson nearly a century ago. Steven Contento, executive director of the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, said the carousel will be taken apart...
