New Yorkers Reveal What They Struggle With Most at Work
Have you ever found yourself banging your head against the keyboard while trying to work with Excel? Are you struggling to format a simple Word document? That's okay because you're not alone.
According to a survey by VoiceNation, Nearly 50% of people in New York City admit to having these kind of challenges in their everyday work life.
Whether it's the infamous Excel formulas that have us pulling out our hair or spending hours trying to figure out how to set up tables, these tasks are no walk in the park. Here's the thing, it's not just Excel causing all this chaos. There is also formatting Word documents, reviewing documents with tracked changes, and let's not forget about putting together your presentations..

So, what does this mean for us with our everyday grind? Did you know that on average, we are spending up to two hours a day taking on these tasks? If you do the math, that is almost 30% of our work week!
With so much of our time taking up our time, it's no wonder we are feeling so overwhelmed. So, the next time you find yourself feeling frustrated over Excel or a Word document, just remember that you're not alone. As that saying goes, "we are in this together."
Here is a word for the employers out there. You might not have known that your employees are struggling with these office tasks. So now could be a good time to offer your employees a little extra training with Excel and Word.
Here's another way to look at this, if you give them some additional training then they'll be better at their job and maybe a little bit happier.
