Strange Circumstances Surround Fatal Crash in Bradford County
Pennsylvania State Police are reporting a bizarre shooting and fatal crash in Bradford County.
Authorities say at around 2 a.m. June 1 they were called the Quality Inn parking lot in Wysox for a found firearm.
Investigators say they determined 25-year-old Tyler States owned the gun and had shot himself in the left middle finger and sped out of the parking lot at a high rate of speed. Troopers say a short time after speeding onto State Route 6, States crashed his vehicle and was killed.

The investigation is continuing but State Police say there was no evidence of four play found at either scene.
The news release from the Towanda Barracks does not say where States is from.
