What if the spare change from your coffee run could give a cancer patient a safe place to stay during treatment, or make sure they had a ride to their next appointment?

Starting October 1, 2025, Mirabito customers across New York and Pennsylvania will have that very chance. By simply rounding up your purchases or scanning a QR code at the pump, you can turn everyday errands into life saving support for local cancer patients

Last Year’s Donations Turned Into Real Support for Local Families

Generosity poured in last year when this same campaign raised $90,000. That money wasn’t just a number, it translated into 702 patients served locally, over 10,000 nights of free lodging at Hope Lodge, more than a thousand rides to treatment, and even $1.3 million in cost savings for families who desperately needed relief. Think about that: families in our own neighborhoods were able to focus on healing instead of worrying about how they’d get to the hospital or where they’d sleep.

Expanding the Reach of Support in 2025

Mirabito and the American Cancer Society aren’t stopping there. With cancer touching nearly every family in some way, the goal is to expand those services even further this year. “Through the generosity of our customers and our company contributions, we are able to ensure that patients in our communities receive the support they need when they need it most, shared Marissa Sweeney, Senior Marketing Director for Mirabito Holdings.

Beyond Breast Cancer: Helping All Patients in Need

October naturally shines a light on breast cancer awareness, but this campaign goes further. Every cent collected will help patients battling all forms of cancer right here in our local communities. And while Mirabito will also join in local walks and events in October, the Round Up campaign ensures that help reaches families fighting every kind of diagnosis.

How Small Actions Create Big Impact

The beauty of this campaign is in its simplicity. Next time you stop by a Mirabito convenience store, just round up your purchase. Or, if you’re fueling up, scan the QR code at the pump. It’s quick, it’s easy, and together those little acts add up to something powerful. As Heather Morris of the American Cancer Society put it, “Together, we’re delivering hope, vital resources, and compassionate care where it’s needed most.”

Every Dollar Carries a Story of Hope

Behind every dollar is a story of a neighbor who needed a ride, a parent who needed a safe bed near treatment, a family who needed just one less burden on their shoulders. This campaign is more than a fundraiser. It’s a reminder that when we show up for each other, even in small ways, we create ripples of hope that reach far beyond the checkout counter.
