Something Special is Happening With the Devils on Saturday

The Binghamton Devils have played three in a row on the road and they'll return to the friendly confines of the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday against the New York Rangers affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.

I'm excited about the game on Saturday night because I'm going to have a special guest during Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period. As many of you know, Lucie is a French Exchange Student that my daughter, Tara, is hosting at my house.

Tara is a Chuck-a-Puck veteran that has helped me on the ice for over 10 years and this Saturday, Lucie will be joining us on the ice. The magic words that I say to begin throwing the foam pucks on the ice are "Ladies and gentlemen, CHUCK YOUR PUCKS."

On Saturday, I'm going to attempt to say it in French. Lucie has been teaching me the words but it sounds more like I'm saying "Lenny and Gentle Ben, LICK YOUR PUKE."

I'm hoping to convince Lucie to say the words for me but I don't want to put to much pressure on her. After all, I want her to enjoy her experience with us and I would say, so far so good.

Face-off is at 7:05 and we hope to see you at the game on Saturday night to see for yourself between the 2nd and 3rd period. LET'S GO DEVILS!
