Be a Santa to a Senior with Home Instead Senior Care

The popular Be a Santa to a Senior campaign is back this year, with a virtual twist!

Home Instead Senior Care of Broome County is partnering with local community agencies to identify senior citizens who might not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season. They're asking community members to purchase the gifts so they can be delivered in time to brighten these special older adults' holidays. Over the past 13 years, this effort has gifted more than 1,000 presents to local seniors through a partnership with Boscov's department store.

Boscov's remains committed to this campaign, but instead of having a tree with seniors' wish lists displayed in the store, Be a Santa to a Senior is going online to promote good social distancing.

Simply skim through the wish list cards listed below and fill out the form; a representative from Home Instead Senior Care will reach out to confirm which senior you've been matched with. Then, you're welcome to start shopping! These gifts make such a big difference to these older adults, and we like to think it brings fulfillment to the giver, too. May we all have a little Santa in us this year.
