The Binghamton Rumble Ponies open their 2019 Eastern League season on Thursday night at 6:35 in Manchester as they meet the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.  Binghamton plays four games in New Hampshire and three in Portland, Maine before the team's home opener next Thursday, April 11 versus the Erie Seawolves.  Games will once again be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF and CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM with airtime 15 minutes prior to the game.

The Rumble Ponies held a workout this (Tuesday) afternoon at NYSEG Stadium with pitchers throwing in the outfield and position players hitting indoors in the batting cages behind right field.  The team will workout again at NYSEG Stadium tomorrow before departing on its trip to New Hampshire.  Anthony Kay is the scheduled opening night pitcher for new manager Kevin Boles  Kay makes his Double-A debut after going 7-11 with a 4.26 ERA in .23 total starts between Columbia and St. Lucie last season.
