The 2019 Binghamton Rumble Ponies are less than a month away form their season opener when they travel to New Hampshire to face the Fisher Cats in Manchester on April 4.  The home opener is one week later against Erie at at NYSEG Stadium.  Fans will see a vastly different look when they visit NYSEG Stadium this season.  New seats will be in place and a new state-of-the-art video board will be installed.

Along with the new "look" of the stadium will come changes on the field.  The Rumble Ponies new manger is Kevin Boles.  Boles managed the Portland Sea Dogs in the Eastern League  for three seasons from 2011 to 2013. He then served as the skipper of the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox for five seasons.

Boles brings with him a new staff.  Jonathan Hurst is entering his 14th season as a pitching coach in the New York Mets organization. He pitched for 12 pro seasons including a stint with the New York Mets in 1994.

Tony Jaramillo will be the Ponies' hitting coach. The last three seasons Jaramillo was the assistant hitting coach with the Cincinnati Reds.

Ender Chavez has been named Binghamton's bench coach.  He played professionally for nine seasons and coached in Class A Columbia last season.
