
Calling All New York Artists: Submit Your Work!
The Memorial Art Gallery (MAG) is excited to announce that they have opened up submissions for the 69th Rochester-Finger Lakes Exhibition (RFLX), a showcase of talents from artists across Western and Central New York.
It runs from June 28th to October 5th, 2025, this biennial event in the Docent Gallery highlights the creativity of regional artists working in all kinds of media. It's a chance for artists to have their works considered for acquisition into the MAG's permanent collection.
This exhibition is not just a chance to display art but also to potentially become a part of the gallery's collection. The 69th RFLX will be led by Timothy Peterson, who holds the title of MAG’s Ann and Irving Norry Curator of Contemporary Art.
Artists living in 27 counties of Western and Central New York, including Allegany, Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Erie, Monroe, and Ontario, are encouraged to submit their creations that have been completed in the last two years.

Create an account on artist.callforentry.org, go through the requirements, and upload your masterpiece. It’s your chance to shine and join the ranks of celebrated regional artists.

Various prestigious awards are up for grabs, including the Memorial Art Gallery Award (prize money $1,500), the Alice E. Koret/Docent Award, and many more that artists can compete for.
Key dates to remember are: Submission Period (Now – February 16th, 2025), Delivery of accepted works (June 13th – 15th, 2025), Exhibition Dates (June 28th – October 5th, 2025), and the Popular Vote Award Announcement on July 13th, 2025.
