When the Roberson was first opened to the public in 1954, it was called "The Roberson Memorial Center." Today, we know it as the "Roberson Museum and Science Center and for the last sixty-six years, the Roberson has served as an informative and educational center for our community and beyond.

Each winter, the Roberson conducts an Annual Campaign which benefits the museum and its programs, and this year, the trustees have announced they will match, dollar for dollar, $20,000 in donations made by our community as part of the 2020 Annual Campaign.

In a press release provided to Townsquare Media, Michael Grasso, Executive Director said,

The generosity of the Board of Trustees indicates a strong belief in the mission of Roberson and the importance of the programming that we provide. Roberson’s Trustees are challenging the community to meet that match, doubling every contribution made; it’s a wonderful showing of trust and support for the Museum."

If you would like to make a donation to the Roberson Annual Campaign, you are invited to do so through December 31 by mailing your donation to Roberson Museum and Science Center, 30 Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905 or by making an online donation here. Note that your donation is tax-deductible.
