What would our community be without kids? St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is on a mission to save the lives of kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases and Bracken Kearns and Josh Jacobs of the Binghamton Devils fully support their mission.

Over the course of the next two days, 98.1 The Hawk will be raising money to help local kids under the care of St. Jude and we encourage you to join us in the Partner in Hope Movement.

As a Partner In Hope, you’ll be joining a special community of monthly donors who’ve pledged to help save kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. When you become a Partner in Hope, your monthly donation makes sure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude. And the best part? It's easy to give on your terms each month. Join the movement now by calling 1-800-372-4999 or text the word HAWK to 7-8-5-8-3-3. You can also make an online donation here.

Friday and Saturday are also big days for the Binghamton Devils. On Friday, the Bellevlle Senators come to town. Saturday the rivalry continues when the Rochester Americans come to town. It's also the first post-game skate of the year, so bring your skates to the game and this is your chance to skate on the same ice as the Devils.

The ice skating is free, but you must be at the game to participate and you must have skates to go on the ice but you must have your own. Get your tickets before the game here.

Join me as we support the team that supports savings the lives of kids!
