‘Pokémon Go’ is an Identity Thief

It’s the newest crazy fad and it seems that everyone is playing this game. Except for me. I don't play games. I'm speaking of Pokémon Go. The out pouring of people doing this is nuts! I saw two college dudes chasing their phones just last night, collecting characters and getting some exercise in. You have to be walking 5-10 miles a day doing this. Why could this possibly be negative?

Well, people who sign up to play Pokémon Go could be giving away all their personal information. The game asks for a lot of information from your Google account. If you use your iPhone or Android and log into the game with your Google account you end up giving the game full, unbridled access to your account. Is this safe? Um no.

Here's what Google says about "Full Access":

I suggest if you want to keep playing, you should use a "burner" Google account. What is a "burner"? It's another free Google account, with nothing in it, and use that to sign into Pokémon GO.
