Summer break for some teenagers means part-time jobs, hanging out with friends, and playing lots of video games. Some kids don't get much exercise during the summer because they just sit on the couch and play video games.

Planet Fitness is looking to change that. According to WFLA, Planet Fitness has issued a new challenge to let kids work out for free all summer long.

Starting May 15th and continuing through September 1st, high school students between the ages of 15 and 18 can you use any one of the company's 1,700 locations to work out as often as they'd like for free.

The company is calling it the Teen Summer Challenge Scholarship Sweepstakes. For teens to register, all they need to do is stop by any Planet Fitness location, including the one in Vestal at the University Plaza with their parent or legal guardian and register.

Besides getting to use all the equipment for free, the report says that Planet Fitness is also going to give away over $30,000 in scholarships. At least 50 teens will be selected at random to receive $500 scholarships and one lucky winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
