Office Building, Restaurant Envisioned for Endicott Site
A large parcel in Endicott is being cleared as a developer considers plans for a professional office building and a restaurant for the site.
The property north of East Main Street between Grant and Garfield avenues was acquired by Marchuska Development last month.
Workers have been removing trees from the site over the past couple of weeks.
Justin Marchuska said the property is being prepared for future projects. He said his company will be seeking tenants for the site, which is located just east of Washington Avenue and Union-Endicott High School.
Marchuska said its possible a bank or medical offices could eventually open at the site. He said the property also would have enough space for a restaurant.
Endicott Mayor John Bertoni said he's "very happy" to see something being done with the property, which has been unused for decades.
