According to Governor Cuomo's Office, New York State's multi-agency task force combating violations of coronavirus-related regulations at bars and restaurants conducted nearly 1,100 compliance checks between July 21 and July 23, documenting violations at 84 establishments with 10 of those resulting in a liquor license suspension.

Businesses found in violation of COVID-19 regulations face fines up to $10,000 per violation. Since the outbreak began, the state has cited over 440 establishments with more than 30 license suspensions.
