Norwich Lowes Cashier Accused of Stealing Identities

A former cashier at Lowes in Norwich is being charged with identity theft and forgery.

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say 20 year old Zachary Crandall of Norwich is accused of making several fraudulent returns on gift cards by using the identities of customers at the store, then using the cards to make purchases at Lowes.

Crandall has been ordered to appear in Town of Norwich Court at a later date.
