This post is a little late and for that, I apologize. Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of acting as Master of Ceremonies and DJ for The Weiss Wedding at The Silo Restaurant In Greene. Heather and Tom were a great couple and the best part is I've known them both for years! I provided the sound for their ceremony outside which was beautiful as well. I hid the speaker, so there was no audio equipment in any pictures. I enjoyed the bride and groom's choice of introduction music as we "Rick Rolled" the guests with Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" during announcements.

The toasts where both personal and funny as small anecdotes from childhood and the recent past where told by the Maid of Honor and the Best Man. Following that was a heartfelt blessing by the Bride's Father.

The venue put on a very nice buffet consisting of a nice salad selection, bacon wrapped pork, cream cheese potatoes, beef tips, baked ziti and stuffed chicken.

After dinner, the camera flashes and warming hearts filled the room as the 1st dance, bride and father and mother-groom dances took place. The bride and groom opted out of the bouquet toss, dollar dance and etc. So immediately after the cake was cut, I began open dancing. The one thing I enjoyed the most about this wedding was the laid back fun the guests enjoyed! It did not get super crazy, but by no means was boring at all! The dance floor stayed full the rest of the evening. Guests were saying how much fun they were having and I even heard from a guest that her feet hurt but didn't want to stop dancing!

The wedding planner, Maria, was even dancing, and shared a slow dance with a guest! This was a nice classy wedding, and I am glad I was a part of it! Congratulations Heather and Tom Weiss!!
