For someone like me, quarantined life is pretty much my normal day-to-day. Sure, there’s a little more concern when I’m out working or shopping, but otherwise I’m not changing my routine much. For others I know, it’s a much more of a trial. People are used to going out, finding stuff to do, going out to eat at cool restaurants, all that stuff. But, now that you have to spend more time at home, what are you going to do with all that time?

Simply enough, you can start doing any projects or things you’ve been planning on doing for a long time, but kept saying “I just don’t have the time for it.” Now you have nothing but time. All the time in the world. Did I say time enough?

But, seriously, if there’s something you’ve been holding out on doing, now’s your chance.

Had a book or series sitting on the shelf? Grab it and give it a try.

Miss having more exotic meals? Look up how to make them yourself, experiment in the kitchen for a change.

Had a TV show you’ve been meaning to watch? Grab yourself a streaming service and go to town.

Have a hobby you haven’t been able to enjoy? Pick it up again and push what you can do with it.

All in all, take this time to breathe and understand what it is you want to do with yourself. There’s a lot less distraction now, and a lot less excuses.
