The National Hockey League has extended the suspension of play through at least Monday, April 6.  This adds ten days onto what was a suspension of play order through March 27.

The league has been closely monitoring the situation and conducted a conference call with the Board of Governors on Monday and with General Managers on Tuesday to update the situation.  Players are required to self-quarantine til further notice.

According to the latest released information two Ottawa Senators players have tested positive for the Coronavirus.  The American Hockey League has not made any additional announcements since suspending play on March 12.  At the time the American Hockey League issued a statement stating that play was suspended indefinitely and advising players to head home until notified.

The Binghamton Devils have four more home games on their schedule including two final regular season games on April 10 and 11 versus Hershey and Rochester.  The American Hockey League is the top developmental league for the NHL so much if not all of any progress will be directly related to that of the National Hockey League.
