New York’s Fast-Food Favorites
If you're all about indulging in some fast food, then National Fast-Food Day was the day for you. Whether it's a quick bite on your way home from work or just giving in to a delicious cheat meal, fast food always manages to hit the spot.
According to VegasInsider, America's favorite fast-food chains were determined based on search volumes from the past year, and here is what they found out.
America's Favorite Food Chains
Dominos topped the list as the most popular fast-food, taking the lead in the battle of the pizza franchises. McDonald's was close behind in second place. Maybe it would be #1 if they served the McRib, all-year long.
How about New York? When it comes to the Big Apple and beyond, Dominos reigns supreme with an average search volume of 90,000. McDonald's, Wingstop, Chick-fil-A, and Pizza Hut also made it to the top 5 list of favorite fast-food chains in the Empire State..
Least Favorite Food Chains in America
In-N-Out ranked as the third least favorite chain overall, but in New York, it was among the top 10 with over 60,000 keyword searches. And for those with a sweet tooth (like me), Cinnabon ranked as the least favorite in New York, although you would never know it by the crowd that you would see at the Oakdale Mall/Commons.
The next time you're in the Empire State and wanting some fast food, you know which chains are a hit among fellow New Yorkers. Whether it's a slice of pizza from Dominos or a burger from McDonald's, there's no shortage of options to satisfy your fast-food fix.
