The Troopers have issued a statement saying, as always, emergency calls will be answered by authorities but they say anyone calling 911 need to advise dispatchers if anyone in the house is experiencing flu-like symptoms.  The calls will still be answered, but first responders need to know so they can prepare with the proper gear.

Also, until further notice, State Police are suspending employment fingerprinting along with child safety seat checks at their stations.

Troopers will notify the public when the services resume.

All the regular duties of the State Police continue including traffic safety, criminal investigations and other matters of public safety.
