
New York Drivers Have a Favorite Gas Station and Snack for Road Trips
If you're getting ready for a summer road trip, you're probably planning at least one stop at a gas station. Whether it's to fill up the tank or grab a snack, everyone seems to have a favorite.

A study by the content team at Hartley Law looked at Google Trends from the past year to find out which gas stations people searched for the most in every state. The study also looked at the road trip snacks people searched for the most.
New York's Favorite Gas Station
Byrne Dairy is New York's favorite gas station. While Byrne Dairy came out on top in New York, Buc-ee's, Mobil, and Shell were the most popular gas stations across the country. Each was the most searched gas station in three different states.
New York's Favorite Road Trip Snack
When it comes to snacks, New Yorkers have a sweet tooth. The study found that Häagen Dazs ice cream is the favorite gas station road trip snack in New York. Across the country, Häagen Dazs was also the most popular choice, finishing first in five states.
Other Popular Road Trip Snacks
The study found that Little Debbie Swiss Rolls were the second most popular road trip snack, followed by Planters Trail Mix. Other snacks that showed in multiple states included Cheetos, Reese's Pieces, KitKat bars, and Funyuns.
