New York Ranks High on Lottery Win Index

They looked into different factors to figure out which states are the most fortunate when it comes to lottery wins. It included the number of Mega Millions and Powerball winners adjusted for population, total prize payouts, average lottery spending per capita, cost of living indexes, state investment performance, tax implications for winnings, even crime statistics.

According to their findings, New York finished in the 4th position on the Lottery Win Index, scoring a little over 59 points out of 100. This suggests that the Empire State might have a touch of lottery luck in the air.

California claimed the top spot on the list with a score of 67.57, with Florida and New Hampshire following closely behind, New Yorkers can take pride in knowing that the Empire State is a promising place for potential lottery winners.
