New York Named the Second Biggest High Roller State
A new study has revealed that New York is the second biggest high-rolling state in America, coming in just behind California. The research took a look at billionaires, luxury cars, poker winnings, and more to find out which states live the flashiest lifestyles. New York earned a score of 44.38 out of 100, putting it firmly in second place.
Billionaires Call New York Home
One of the biggest reasons that the Empire State ranks so high is the number of billionaires who live there. The state is home to 93 billionaires, making it one of the wealthiest states in the country.
Luxury Cars Fill New York Streets
The study also found that 21 percent of cars in New York are luxury vehicles, showing just how common high-end living is across the state.

Poker Champions Add to the Ranking
It’s not just billionaires and cars that make New York stand out. The state also has 13 professional poker players who have each earned more than $10 million.
California Holds the Top Spot
New York is second on the list with California coming in first place with a much higher score of 59.69 out of 100. This may come as a surprise to some because New York and California are two of the highest taxed states. Maybe the billionaires are just better at sheltering their money.
Other states in the top five included Florida, Nevada, and Texas
