The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Union Offices on East Main Street in Endwell February 26.

The DOT will talk about the plans to smooth the road from Arthur Avenue to the Hooper Road Ramp in Endwell scheduled for the 2020 construction season.

In addition to the pavement rehabilitation, the plans call for construction of a sidewalk on the eastbound side of Route 17C between Kent Avenue and the Hooper Road interchange and repairs to ten sidewalk curb ramps to meet federal Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines.

Officials say new pavement markings to reconfigure the lanes will make it easier to make left turns and improve safety for motorists and cyclists.
