New York State Residents Rank #5 as Best Kissers in America

New York is known for their landmarks, atmosphere, and thriving dating scene. Now, the state can add another feather to its cap: being home to some of the best kissers in America.

According to new research based on a survey from various aspects of kissing, New York residents have secured the rank of #5 among the best kissers in the country, with an overall 'kissing score' of 77.2 out of 100.

The survey, conducted by The Matchmaking Company interviewed over 3,000 Americans from different states, to find the different  facets of kissing proficiency and enjoyment. From questions like 'Do you believe in the magic of a first kiss?' to inquires involving kissing duration, they wanted to find out which states had the best and worst kissers.

New York residents showed off their remarkable kissing skills by scoring high in many categories. On average, New Yorkers have kissed 22 people showing an experienced approach to lip-locking.

The survey showed that residents of the Empire State have a strong preference for kissing over other kinds of physical affection. The kissing score of 77.2 out of 100 shows the passionate and enjoyable nature of kissing shared by New York residents.
