Taste of Country announced Tuesday that the Country Music Hall of Fame will have three new members.

Charlie Daniels will be inducted into the Veteran category, Randy Travis will represent the Modern Era and famed record producer Fred Foster in the non-performing category will round out the three new inductees.

Randy Travis' brought the crowd to it's feet when his name was announced and the stroke he suffered could not keep the music legend for speaking, even if it was only a few words.

Charlie Daniels was shocked when his name was called.  Good for Charlie.  If you've ever seen him in concert, you know what an amazing performer he is.  In fact, Charlie is playing Magic City Music Hall in Binghamton June 17th!  How cool is that; seeing the new Country Music Hall of Fame member in our own backyard, so to speak.

Congratulations to all three new inductees.  Well deserved Charlie and Randy!
