On a posting on its website, the credit union says it is contacting all members with fraudulent activity on their debit cards and will be issuing new cards.

The skimming devices were apparently detected prior to the Labor Day holiday with the Sidney Federal Credit Union keeping its call center, Walton and Oneonta Branches open in the evening and early in the morning following the discovery.

The credit union said it is investigating the situation and will contact members if fraud has been detected on their debit card.

At the end of August, officials with the Guthrie Federal Credit Union said skimmers had been found at the lobby and drive-up ATMs in Sayre and new cards were being issued to members whose accounts were compromised.
