A traffic stop is resulting in felony charges for three people after police found methamphetamine in the car.

Johnson City Police say 23-year-old Hanna Werner of Johnson City, 30-year-old Robert Weiss of Windsor and 36-year-old Steven Wiley of Binghamton are each charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police say they saw a vehicle traveling west on Main Street at around 9 p.m. February 24th and stopped it for a traffic violation.  They say they found Werner was driving while her license was suspended.  Police say they also found she had a small amount of methamphetamine in her possession.

Further investigation found passenger, Weiss, also had a small amount of methamphetamine in his possession.  Then, a cigarette box was found in the back seat containing just over three grams of meth.  Glass pipes and several hypodermic needles were also found in the car.

Werner and Weiss are each charged with felony and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.  Werner is also charged with unlicensed operation and failure to keep right. Wiley is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.

All three were sent to the Broome County Jail.
