Authorities say a man is dead following an argument in the town of Union.

State police were called to a parking lot in the area of 15 Delaware Avenue in Endwell around 8:45 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators say a 33-year-old man is believed to have jumped onto a vehicle after a dispute. The man was injured when he fell to the ground.

Troopers provided assistance to the man, whose name wasn't released. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

The vehicle involved in the incident was stopped by Johnson City police about ten minutes after the initial report at Main and First streets.

The driver and two passengers were interviewed by investigators.

No charges have been filed. State police are working with the Broome County District Attorney's office as the investigation continues.
