There were many downsides because of the pandemic in the summer of 2020 but I have to admit that there was one MAJOR upside to it. I did more traveling and I had the chance to spend the weekend camping with my family. It'll be a memory that I won't ever forget.

During a normal summer, I never would have had the chance to spend time with them as I did. We all have so many different things going on that we don't find the time to do them together. The 2020 pandemic allowed us to do so.

We couldn't go far but we could go there together and by the photos I've seen on social media, I think many other families did the same thing. There is something about spending time outdoors with your family that takes it to another level.

Another thing that's important is a good place to stay like Kampgrounds of America (KOA.) They are celebrating their 58th anniversary and just held its Annual International Convention on Tuesday, November 17th.

So we want to say congratulations to the Unadilla/I-88/Oneonta KOA. They won the KOA Founder and KOA President's Award. The Founder's Award is KOA's highest service award and can only be attained with world-class scores in both customer service and the KOA Quality Review.

The President's Award is given after a survey by hundreds of thousands of KOA campers each year. There are 515 KOA campgrounds in the US and Canada, so to win this award is a high honor.

Congratulations again to the Unidallia/I-88/Oneonta KOA.
