A Binghamton man was sent to Broome County Jail after he was charged with several felony counts following on drug raid on the city's West Side.

Authorities say 32-year-old Mandela Williams of 155 Main Street was arrested after police executed a search warrant Wednesday.

Police say they confiscated a loaded handgun and a high capacity magazine in the raid. They also found THC oil, performance-enhancing drugs and marijuana.

Investigators say they seized $8,000 in suspected drug sale proceeds.

Williams has been charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He also was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Williams was arraigned in Binghamton city court Thursday. He was ordered held at the jail in the town of Dickinson.

Williams was arrested by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.
