Sidney Police Department Raising Money For New K9 Car Upgrades

We love our men and women in blue and they don't get near enough credit for all the things that they do to keep us safe. The behind-the-scenes stuff that we'll never know about or get recognition for.

My brother-in-law is a part of the blue brotherhood and what little I hear is enough for me. No thanks, I'll stay behind the microphone. I recently heard that The Village of Sidney Police Department got a new narcotics dog named Riggs.

Delaware Valley Humane Society Helping Sidney Police Department

One minor problem, they needed to get their vehicle "Riggs Ready" and needed some help. The Delaware Valley Humane Society (DVHS) stepped in and stepped up. They started a "Raising $$$ for Riggs" campaign to raise $5500.00 to make the vehicle K-9 complete.

The additions will include K9 Heat Alarm & K9 Transport Insert and all the money donated will go DIRECTLY to the Village PD. Riggs has learned the ropes, he's adjusting to the nuances of his new job, and is ready to work.
