Police have filed felony charges in connection with a noise dispute that resulted in a Johnson City man being injured.

Authorities say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Sherman Street.

Officers were sent to investigate a report of a fight involving two men, including one armed with a gun.

Investigators say 29-year-old Stephen Price of Johnson City was arrested. He was charged with assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say Price is accused of repeatedly hitting a neighbor in the head with a gun. The other man was treated at Wilson Medical Center for his injuries.

Officers confiscated a realistic-looking BB gun.

In addition to the charges related to the dispute, Price was accused of violating the terms of his parole.
