So, the question is:  Should I do them myself, or go someplace that specializes in just taxes? Here's some things to flop around your skull while deciding, and if you answer "yes" to any of these, pay to have them done.

If your household income more than $200,000 a year, you're more likely to get audited, so go to a professional. If you self employed, freelancing, or a business owner, Your taxes are a little harder to do than just click some internet buttons. If you made money on investments last year in the stock market or you inherited a bunch of money, get a pro.

Last but not least, if you get married, started college, or had a baby hiring someone to do your taxes could save you some cash, they'll know all the deductions you supposed to get.
