I've played golf at nearly every course in the Southern Tier, and without question, Hardwood Hills Golf Course in Masonville is one of my favorites!

They've given me a few new reasons to love them:

1) Active or retired military personnel can show proof of their military status for a free round of golf. Then, at the clubhouse, they also can enter a drawing for one of three free memberships for the 2023 season.

2) 98.1 The Hawk will be part of their golf tournament on July 23 that will benefit the St. Jude Radiothon. I've been a St. Jude Partner in Hope for many years, and was really happy when Hardwood Hills approached us with the idea for this fund-raising tournament!

If you're not familiar, Hardwood Hills Golf Course is located 11 miles north of Deposit on Route 8 and has some of the best views in the area.

Aside from having an 18-hole course, Hardwood Hills Golf Course also offers weekly food specials. Some of their food specials have included half-off apps, cans and clams, prime rib, and taco Tuesday. They also listen to what people want and have added a dessert menu!

Hardwood Hills Golf Course always has something going on, whether it’s live music for a night out or one of their many golf tournaments. They also have daily events for the whole family, including:

  • Monday: Men’s play your own ball and women’s captain and mate
  • Tuesday: Men’s play your own ball and cornhole league
  • Wednesday: Men’s Maple and Oak leagues
  • Thursday: Private league night
  • Friday: Couples night and family night

The views at Hardwood Hills are incredible, the people have a passion for what they do, and even a hack like me can enjoy a fun day of golf...a double bogie doesn't hurt so much when you can enjoy the scenery at Hardwood Hills!
