Halloween Celebrations Continue on TV
If you haven't yet seen "The Great Pumpkin" appear to the Peanuts gang this year, you're in luck, they are back a day before Halloween (Thursday night at 8) on ABC. Typically the alphabet network repeats this classic a number of times because there is such a huge audience.
According to TVGuide.com, there are a number of shows doing new Halloween episodes this year. Halloween editions with popular fare like 'Modern Family,' typically pull in a larger audience and win in the ratings.
Here are some Halloween highlights of what's new tonight:
The Middle/ 8pm / ABC
My favorite family comedy..always great writing and lol fun. Brick invites a girl home just to hang out with him on Halloween, much to his parents' surprise. Meanwhile, Sue tries to host a pumpkin-patch screening of an animated holiday classic to earn money for college; and Axl gets locked inside of a library.
Modern Family/ 9pm / ABC
Emmy winner for TV's best comedy year-after-year... their Halloween episodes are always memorable! Phil takes over Halloween from a reluctant Claire and turns the Dunphy house into "AwesomeLand." Meanwhile, Gloria chooses Princess Fiona and Shrek costumes for her and Jay, but...
Criminal Minds/ 9pm / CBS
A young boy disappears in San Diego on Halloween, just as another boy who vanished one year earlier suddenly reappears.
The Haunting/ 10pm /CBS
Eerie disturbances in a haunted house are investigated by the team members, who spend Halloween night at a costume party searching for a perpetrator long thought to be dead. I may have to check this one out.
