Greene’s ‘Running 4 A Reason’ Gives Hope to Community
This Saturday, June 6th runners from all over the Southern Tier will converge in Greene for the 5th Annual ‘Greene Running 4 A Reason’ 5K Run/Walk, which is a USATF/RRTC certified course.
The special thing about the 'Greene Running 4 A Reason’ 5K Run/Walk is that it was set up to give hope and to help those in need in the Greene area who have a financial need due to a medical condition.
The run/walk is a family friendly event and will take place at 8:45am at the Ball Flats in Greene on Saturday, June 6th. In addition to the run/walk this Saturday, there will also be a bake sale, raffle, and a kid’s fun run.
If you’d like to participate in ‘Greene Running 4 A Reason,” you’ll find an entry form here and if you can’t run, but would like to make a donation, you can do that here.
