Governor Andrew Cuomo repeatedly sexually harassed women, including a state trooper on his protective detail, according to an investigation by New York attorney general's office.

The conclusions of the report were released by Attorney General Letitia James Tuesday morning.

James said Cuomo subjected women who were employed by the state and others to unwanted groping, kisses, hugging and inappropriate comments.

The attorney general said the actions by the governor and his staff fostered a "toxic workplace" and created a "climate of fear."

James said the Cuomo's engaged in "conduct that corrodes the very fabric and character of our state government."

Investigators interviewed 179 people as part of the effort to corroborate the allegations made by several women.
