Today, Governor Cuomo announced that the first person to test positive for COVID-19 in New York State has recovered and now tests negative!
The governor says the 39-year-old Manhattan woman had returned in February from Iran, but had been recovering at home and was not hospitalized.
The total jumped by more than 1,000 Wednesday to 2,382 confirmed cases, with more than half in the New York City area.
