Glenn’s 5 Favorite Beers from Sam the Beer Man
The minute you walk into Sam the Beer Man, you can see they are one of the largest retail and wholesale beer distributors in the Southern Tier. The selection is astounding with more than 100 beers stocked, including the kind of craft and specialty beers that can really set apart your weekend BBQ.
Here are five craft beers Sam the Beer Man offers that you don't want to miss:
1) The Grape Escape is "brewed with Chardonnay grape juice and hopped with Nelson and Hallertau Blanc, [so] the outcome lends notes of white wines to this IPA," according to Prison City Brewing.
2) The Space In Between "is a hazy ale with a hint of tartness, brewed with oats and wheat and dry-hopped with Nelson and Galaxy varieties," according to brewer Lawson's Finest.
3) Grimm Destination Neon has a delicious description on BeerMenus.com: "Ripe peach dominates the hop flavor while tangerine-lime and cotton candy are notable in the background. A delicate sweetness appears on the clean finish, reminiscent of a shortbread cookie."
4) No Way Gose, aside from featuring a trademark pun in its name, features "pineapple, lime & salt, aged on Tequila barrels. Refreshingly tart, slightly sweet & delightfully easy," according to DuClaw Brewing Co.
5) Party Jam Plum is part of Hermit Thrush Brewery's line of fruited kettle sours.
