Furry Buddy Rescue Fundraising and Adoption Event at the Vestal Public Library
On Saturday, January 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., an exciting event is taking place at the Vestal Public Library. Furry Buddy Rescue, in partnership with the Broome Teen & Tween Homeschool Group, is hosting a Fundraising and Adoption Event.
Help a Furry Friend Find a Furever Home
If you're looking to expand your family with a furry companion, this event is perfect for you. Meet some adorable cats and kittens who are eagerly waiting to find their forever homes. Not only can you find a new family member, but you can also support a local rescue that plays a vital role in the community.
Fundraiser and Adoption Event Details
The event will be held in the Large Community Room at the Vestal Public Library, conveniently located to the right as you enter the building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 25.
How to Adopt
To streamline the adoption process, it is recommended to get pre-approved before the event. However, you can also fill out an adoption form on-site. Only pre-approved applications are eligible to take home their furry friends on the same day. If you would like to get pre-approved please reach out to Furry Buddy Rescue organizers here.
Support Furry Buddy Rescue
Apart from adopting a fur baby, there are various ways to show your support for the Furry Buddy Rescue. They will be accepting donations in the form of monetary contributions and specific items that are always in need. Here is a list of items you can donate:
Purina Natural Kitten Food
Kitten Toys
Cat Treats
Various brands of Canned Soft Food
Wee Wee Pads
Horse Pellets (for litter bedding)
Baby Blankets
Disinfectant Wipes
Additional Activities
During the event, there will be a Bake Sale where you can purchase delicious treats, with proceeds supporting the rescue. You can also participate in a raffle for a chance to win exciting items.
Don't forget to bring your cans or bottles for the Bottle Drive - your recycling efforts will contribute to the welfare of the rescue animals. Additionally, have fun with the "Putt For A Paws" game - a playful way to raise funds to help care for these lovely creatures.

If you'd like to make a difference in the lives of animals and potentially welcome a furry friend into your home, mark your calendar for this event at the Vestal Public Library on January 25th!
