Asphalt Truck Rollover on Front Street

An overturned asphalt truck caused a traffic backup during the morning rush on Monday.

According to the New York State Department of Transportation, the crash happened just after 7:30 a.m. on Front Street near the intersection with Prospect Street in Binghamton.

DOT officials say the driver of the asphalt truck was not injured, but southbound traffic on Front Street was down to one lane.

Binghamton police and fire personnel were also on the scene.
